Courtney Sixx, known as the How2Girl, is a celebrity DIY expert, whose projects are featured all over—from the pages of national and international magazines to television talk shows, fashion runway shows, popular apps and a soon-to be released eponymous channel on the digital how-to platform OwnZones.
A native of Los Angeles, Courtney signed with Wilhelmina Models at age 17 and soon after moved to Europe to pursue her career. After finding success as a model, Courtney became interested in film production and worked for Paramount Pictures and in locations including Los Angeles, New York and Miami Beach.
Still, Courtney's greatest passion since she was a young girl remained DIY projects—which is her focus now as she is at her best grabbing her (pink) glue gun, tool belt and typically some flowers and bling to create anything for entertaining, fashion, beauty and décor.
As a famous face, TV host, recurring red-carpet fashion commentator and Bright Pink Ambassador, Courtney is a staple on the Hollywood scene, taking in (and taking away) ideas from all the events she attends to turn into projects for the budget-friendly girl on the go, which she also shares on her website How2Girl.com, on How2Girl Radio on iheartradio and through her Youtube channel.
A longtime admirer of Martha Stewart, now Courtney is excited to be sharing her ideas and expertise for everything from bridal showers to favors, table settings, centerpieces, invitations and more with Martha Stewart Weddings. Follow her project pics and behind the scenes footage @how2girl!
