Louise Roe is a TV host, fashion blogger (check out her colorful Instagram feed here), and author of lifestyle guide Front Roe. Born and raised in the English countryside, she worked in London at various fashion magazines before moving out to Los Angeles seven years ago, when she was offered the dream job of red carpet reporting for E! Entertainment. After hosting MTV's makeover show Plain Jane for five seasons, the overwhelming number of style questions pouring into her social media platforms every day gave Louise the idea to write a book. But it's not only fashion advice she thrives on—it's the goal of bestowing women with inner confidence, too. Louise works as an ambassador to Step Up Women's Network, a charitable organization that mentors high school girls and helps them pursue their goals. But back to Plain Jane … having traveled the world for a few years with the show, Louise and the show's director, Mackenzie Hunkin, stayed friends long after production had wrapped. That friendship turned into romance, and last winter Mackenzie proposed. As a writer and stylist, Louise will be penning and shooting wedding-inspired articles exclusively for Martha Stewart Weddings in the lead up to her wedding this fall, which will appear in the pages of the magazine next year.
