Princess Eugenie is approaching two years of wedded bliss with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, this fall, but the royal recently posted a never-before-seen wedding portrait to mark another milestone: Brooksbank's birthday. She debuted the image on Instagram, alongside the caption: "Happy Birthday my love... xx," The Daily Mail reports.

Princess Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, also shared a birthday tribute to Brooksbank on social media: "Happy Birthday my 'James Bond' son-in-law. You are such a huge heart of goodness."

The two were officially pronounced husband and wife after tying the knot in St. George's Chapel in Windsor, England, on October 12, 2018. Princess Eugenie sported a Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos wedding dress for the televised nuptials, attended by a myriad of celebrities, like Naomi Campbell and Ellie Goulding, and various members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, Prince William, and more.

While the wedding was a high-profile affair, the couple has always remained level-headed and balanced in their relationship, regardless of Princess Eugenie's royal status. According to the mother-of-the-then-bride, her daughter found a true partner in Brooksbank, who "is an amazing bringer of light and he brings joy," she said, People previously reported. "Eugenie is very controlled, she is so sorted. She knows exactly what she wants," Ferguson explained. She also shared that their strong bond would be on full display when their wedding day rolled around. "[They're] very contemporary, they are very inclusive, and they are all about love, and they want this wedding to be about that, to include everybody and to really absorb the love they have for each other with everybody else."
