It's safe to say that weddings involve a ton of planning—there are so many details to work out. But for Hoda Kotb? She is leaving it up to the experts to bring her big day to life. "I'm putting the planning in the hands of professionals,'' she shared in the recent issue of People, Today reports. "All I want is Joel, Haley, and Hope, and my closest inner circle. I can picture Joel at the end of the aisle and Haley and Hope wondering what's going on."

The Today Show host added that everything on her wedding day will be centered around her and fiancé Joel Schiffman's union. "Everything's just the backdrop for a beautiful moment,'' she said. "And that's all I want—just one beautiful moment. The rest of it's just drunk dancing."

While Hoda also shared that her big day will involve sand, drinks, and a DJ, she and Joel are still figuring out where their event will take place. "I think it's going to be super simple, no big deal, we'll bring some friends, we'll probably be on a beach somewhere,” she said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Hoda has always maintained that a beachside affair is her first choice—and noted that a vacation spot in Mexico, where Joel popped the question, is likely the front-runner. "We may go back to the place we were engaged,” she previously told People. "We haven't thought about it too much, but we might do something like that. The place is special to us."
