The couple asked Diplo—the very same celebrity who accidentally shared their not-so-secret Las Vegas elopement with the world—to DJ their reception.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's second wedding unfolded at the Château du Martinay in France on Saturday-in most ways, their formal, upscale celebration was decidedly different than their first, which took place in Las Vegas (Elvis impersonator officiant and all). The couple did, however, make one fun connection between both events. The DJ Diplo, who was responsible for live-streaming the duo's supposed-to-be-secret first nuptials on Instagram in May, held a very special role during their reception.

Though Diplo was absolutely banned from livestreaming this ceremony (he joked on Instagram that Turner and Jonas took away his phone and put him "in a holding cell" during the service), he was encouraged to let loose come the reception-according to an E! News source, he DJed during the party. Clearly, there are no hard feelings between the newlyweds and their unofficial videographer, who helped shape their celebration into an epic dance celebration.

Speaking of the couple's party-multiple sources have reported that the celebration, held at the nearby Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, was next-level. "Sophie and Joe wanted their wedding to be a huge party," the source continued, before touching on all of the celebration's best components, from the electronic and hip-hop music to meaningful toasts during dinner (courtesy of Jonas' brothers, Nick and Kevin!) and an after-party with the ultimate menu (think burgers, French fries, and chicken fingers).

The event followed a romantic ceremony; the service's aisle was adorned with white flowers and glass-covered candles, adds another E! News insider. As for the actual service? It was incredibly poignant, says the source: "Joe and Sophie both teared up while reading their vows. Everyone stood and cheered and they had huge smiles as they left as a couple. It was an emotional ceremony."
