Prince George and Princess Charlotte are about to reprise their roles as page boy and bridesmaid, respectively, reports the Sunday Times. In a sweet turn of fate, the assistant head teacher at George's school, Lucy Lanigan-O'Keeffe, has become engaged to Prince William's best friend (and Charlotte's godfather!), Thomas van Straubenzee-which signals two parts of the young royals' worlds (school and home!) coming together. It's only fitting that George and Charlotte are included in the bridal party, since they have connections to both the bride (Charlotte will begin to attend Thomas' Battersea School in the fall, where she'll meet Lanigan-O'Keeffe!) and groom.

This marks the children's fifth time participating in a wedding party. They previously held these roles at Pippa Middleton and James Matthews' nuptials-as well as the weddings of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, and Sophie Carter and Robert Snuggs (close friends of Kate Middleton).

Prince William will also take part in the festivities-he will allegedly be an usher at the event, as he was during van Straubenzee's first wedding to Lady Melissa Percy in 2013. The Duke of Cambridge and future groom's ties originated during their own childhoods; they both attended Ludgrove prep school. van Straubenzee participated in his pal's wedding, as well-along with James Meade, another one of Prince William's close friends, he served as an usher and gave a toast during the 2011 royal wedding reception.

The van Straubenzees' connection to the royal family extends to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well. Charlie van Straubenzee, Thomas' younger brother, is very close with the Duke of Sussex. So close, in fact, that the outlet reports that he will likely be named baby Archie's godfather during the child's christening in July.
