Jennifer Lawrence Reportedly Wants a "Blowout" Wedding That's All About the Party
The actress and her fiancé Cooke Maroney want their friends and family to have a ton of fun during their celebration.
Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are in full wedding-planning mode as they prepare for their upcoming nuptials. Although the actress and gallery director have yet to reveal too much about their big day, a source did tell People that Lawrence plans on throwing a "blowout party." The couple reportedly "can't wait to get married" and want everyone to have "a ton of fun" on their big day.
This comes as no surprise to us, since Lawrence is known for her quirky, bubbly personality. A second insider confirmed that Maroney is similar, adding, "They're a super fun couple." Lawrence, who is consistently praised for being down to earth despite her A-list status, has reportedly found the perfect match in her fiancé. "Cooke doesn't care that she's famous, and she loves that he brings normalcy to her life."
Based on their relaxed personalities, it's clear that the duo is taking a laid-back approach to planning. While speaking with Catt Sadler on an episode of her Naked podcast, Lawrence gave fans an idea of just how relaxed she is: "I'm like too lazy to be neurotic," the star explained, reports People. "I saw a dress I liked I was like, 'That's the dress.' I saw a venue I was like, 'Cool, we got the venue.'" The Hunger Games star went on to confirm that she's "been in a good place" and "feel[s] very honored to become a Maroney."
The Maroneys are also pleased to welcome Larence into their family. According to Entertainment Tonight, both the couple's relatives "believe they are meant to be; his family loves her family and vice versa."
