Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Just Gave the World the First Real Glimpse of Baby Archie
Though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle introduced their son, Archie, to his many fans just days after his birth, the images they released didn't really show the little one's face. Nearly one month later, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave the world a better look at the newest royal baby-and for the sweetest reason.
The couple took to their joint Instagram account to honor Prince Harry's new title-Dad!-on Father's Day. "Happy Father's Day! And wishing a very special first Father's Day to The Duke of Sussex," the post read. The duo paired the sweet message with a sepia-toned image of their son, which shows the baby boy grabbing his dad's finger. Prince Harry's wedding ring is also on display on the image-which made the image even more poignant. (It seemed as if the message was coming straight from Meghan Markle, herself.)
Though we don't know for sure how Markle will celebrate this holiday with her husband, we're certain that it will be special. The Duchess of Sussex has, after all, been vocal about how her bond with Prince Harry has only deepened since the arrival of their son. During the couple's first joint interview-which took place at Windsor Castle, their wedding venue-following Archie's arrival, Markle spoke about parenting alongside her husband. "It's magic. It's pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I'm really happy," she said, before adding that her son has "the sweetest temperament. He's really calm."
Harry also opened up about what it's like to be a new father. "It's great. Parenting is amazing. It's only been two and a half days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy," he told reporters.
