Katherine Schwarzenegger Wore a Custom Armani Dress for Her Wedding to Chris Pratt
The couple tied the knot last Saturday in an intimate ceremony.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger officially tied the knot on Saturday in front of close family and friends. The newlyweds confirmed the marriage on Sunday by posting nearly identical photos of each other on Instagram.
In the photos, Schwarzenegger is seen wearing what we now know is a custom Armani wedding dress. She chose a strapless lace sheath with cathedral train. Her groom also chose custom Armani attire, sporting a sleek suit made by the designer. "We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us, and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani, who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear, and for Chris, the perfect suit," the happy bride wrote in her post. "This morning we feel nothing but blessed."
The couple wed in an intimate ceremony at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, after a five-month long engagement. In the hours before the "I dos" Pratt spent some time golfing with Parks and Recreation co-star, Rob Lowe, who attended the wedding with his wife and two sons. "The venue is beautiful. Lots of flowers and greenery everywhere," a source told People. "It's a very romantic setting for a wedding."
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn, a live band, and a "very vibrant menu," another insider told People. Although the wedding seemed like a lot of fun, it's clear the newlyweds are more excited about starting this new part of their lives together. "Yesterday was the best day of our lives!" Schwarzenegger wrote. "We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives."
