Although Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are in the thick of preparing for their summer wedding in France, this may not be the first event the couple has planned. Turner recently sat down with Porter and revealed the newlyweds' Las Vegas ceremony last month was not as spontaneous as everyone originally thought.

The service, which took place after the Billboard Music Awards, actually took some planning, says Turner. "I think because there are so many annulments and divorces, you can't just get the license at the chapel now, so it does take a little bit of planning," she said.

The first ceremony also came at an opportune time for the couple-Turner was just completing her role as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones and Jonas had just announced a Jonas Brothers reunion tour. In an interview with The Guardian, Jonas explained how the Las Vegas wedding couldn't have come at a better time. "We've definitely spoken about that," Joe said. "It's difficult to say goodbye to one, but it's amazing timing that we could be starting our life together right now."

As for the summer celebration in France? The couple is remaining tight-lipped about their plans. With all of the unwanted publicity their first wedding received (it was supposed to stay a secret!), it's easy to understand why. "It's tricky when people livestream it," she said of her first service. "It would have been better if no one had known, but I actually think it was funny." When they do decide to wed a second time, it's likely fans won't hear about it right away. "Marriage is a private thing between two people and I think that's how it should always be," she said. "It's not about the dress, it's not about the food. It's about being husband and wife, and being dedicated to each other forever."
