Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt may be in full wedding planning mode, but they aren't preparing for their big day on their own. The mother of the bride, Maria Shriver, has been very hands-on with all of the big-day details—and she recently told Entertainment Tonight how much fun the process has been. While attending the third annual Best Buddies Mother's Day Celebration she explained, "I think it's always great to celebrate love. It's the most important thing in the world. You learn unconditional love ideally from your mother and then if you find it in your life, you're blessed."
Shriver didn't reveal any major wedding details other than the fact that she is still unsure of what she's wearing to the celebration. But the star did note that through the planning uncertainties, one thing is certain: She is positive that Pratt is the perfect match for her daughter. "Chris is a great guy," Shriver told the outlet. Shriver's brother Anthony, who attended the event with his sister, also chimed in on Pratt and Schwarzenegger's relationship: "Actually, I had dinner with him last night. They seem so happy and so in love."
Although Shriver didn't have too much to share regarding her daughter's big day, a source revealed that the couple plans to have a "star-studded event filled with family and some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood." They also shared that it's important to Schwarzenegger that her wedding is fun, since the couple always has "a good time together."
If Schwarzenegger and Pratt's joint bridal shower is any indication of their future celebration, the night is sure to go off without a hitch. People reports that the duo went "all-out for the shower" but "it still felt very down-to-earth and intimate inside." They also revealed that soon-to-be bride was "glowing" while celebrating with family and A-list guests—including Oprah Winfrey.
