Although Meghan Markle has only attended one other wedding since her own (and that was for her royal relative, Princess Eugenie), there's a good chance we'll see her as a guest again in the near future. The Duchess' closest friend—and rumored matchmaker—Misha Nonoo is engaged to entrepreneur Michael Hess.
According to The Daily Mail, Hess confirmed the engagement on his private Instagram page. The news comes after the couple took a romantic Valentine's trip to Cabo St. Lucas. Hess' photo reportedly shows the two on a boat overlooking the water with him down on one knee. "Thank you for making all my dreams come true, Misha Nonoo," the caption reads. "I am so in love with you, and I feel so lucky I get to spend the rest of my life with you right beside me."
Hess and Nonoo made their first public appearance together at the 2018 royal wedding, and while Markle has never confirmed who set her up with her future husband, all signs point to the fashion designer. Nonoo was previously married to Alexander Gilkes, who is one of Prince Harry's close friends, so her bond with both royals meant she was in the perfect position to set the couple up on their first date. "We were introduced, actually, by a mutual friend," Prince Harry told the BBC soon after his and Markle's engagement was announced. The now-Duchess then jumped in, adding, "We should protect her privacy and not reveal too much of that."
Their bond has remained strong since the royal wedding, too. Nonoo was most recently seen at Markle's intimate baby shower in New York City this week. HELLO! reported that the fashion designer was one of the first to arrive along with Markle's former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer.
