Princess Eugenie wrote a sweet message to her husband, Jack Brooksbank, on Instagram yesterday to honor their first Valentine's Day as a husband and wife—she also debuted a never-before-seen wedding photo in the process. The black-and-white image, captured by Alex Bramall, shows the couple kissing after their ceremony in the back of their horse-drawn carriage. "Happy Valentine's Day," Eugenie captioned the shot, along with several heart emojis.
The happy couple has never been shy about showing lighthearted displays of public affection on social media, despite the standard royal protocol against it. In fact, the Queen's granddaughter is one of the only royals to have her own private Instagram account, where she often features her and Jack's favorite moments—including other throwbacks from their relationship milestones (like their engagement, for example).
Eugenie and Jack have a long history together. The couple met back in 2010 while Eugenie was still attending Newcastle University, sparking a longtime romance that led to their highly-anticipated matrimony in October 2018. The televised wedding took place in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle (which was also Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding venue!).
The royal couple continues to reminisce on their big-day—and now, the public can, too. Princess Eugenie's Peter Pilotto wedding dress and emerald tiara (a gift from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth) will be featured alongside Meghan Markle's Givenchy gown in Windsor Castle for spectators to see first-hand.
