Miley Cyrus Reveals Never-Before-Seen Wedding Photos in Honor of Valentine's Day
The newlywed debuted her big-day bouquet.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are currently enjoying their first Valentine's Day as a married couple. To celebrate, Cyrus gave Hemsworth (and her fans!) a gift by posting never-before-seen photos from her wedding on Instagram. Two of the new images show the singer in her white off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood dress holding a bouquet full of anemones and greenery; others show the couple hugging and posing in front of their simple white wedding cake. "My Valentine every single day," she captioned one of her six posts, alongside a heart emoji. "Thank you for always bending down to hug me ... I promise I will always meet you in the middle on my tippiest toes! I love you Valentine!" she wrote on another.
The wedding took place in mid-December and was completely spontaneous, accoring to Hemsworth. "[Getting everyone together] wasn't hard-we have a small group of friends," the star told Extra in January. "It was mainly immediate family, and sort of a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing." The ceremony took place at the couple's home in Tennessee after their home in Malibu was ravaged by the massive fire that destroyed much of the California coast. "They were both devastated after the fire," the source told the outlet. "The way Liam took charge and helped her deal with that tragedy just adds another layer of love and security."
However spontaneous, the couple have been taking to married life well. "It's great-the ring fits," Hemsworth told E! News. "It's great, it's an awesome thing to get through. We've been together for a long time and it felt like it was the right time to do it…Not much about the relationship changes [after marriage], but you kind of have these sort of-the husband and wife thing, it's great. I'm loving it. I'm really, really happy and grateful to be in the position I'm in."
In a recent post for Hemsworth's birthday, Cyrus wrote a heartfelt message about how much her new husband means to her. "I love how you let ME be ME…Thank you for giving me that happiest days of my life. Yours Truly, M."
