As it turns out, Miley Cyrus knew exactly what she wanted in life even at the young age of 16. The singer, who recently wed longtime on-and-off boyfriend Liam Hemsworth in December 2018, predicted virtually exactly what her life would look like now a decade ago.
In an interview with Glamour magazine back in 2009, a then-teenage Cyrus was asked what she thought life would like in 10 years. She responded, "Hopefully I'll be settled: making movies, living in a house, maybe even married." The now 26-year-old has shifted her focus mainly towards making music since starring alongside her now-husband in The Last Song in 2010, but other than that, her predictions were spot on.
Cyrus and Hemsworth finally tied the knot after their shared home was destroyed during the tragic California wildfires in late 2018. The devastating experience, however, only solidified their bond, a source told Us Weekly: "Miley and Liam decided to get married after seeing how well they worked together after the fires." The insider continued, "They didn't want to rush, but after going through the trauma together, they became closer than ever."
Now that the two are happily married, Cyrus has allegedly aready begun thinking about having children. "[She] does want to have a family with Liam. Miley and Liam say they felt married before their actual ceremony," a second source told Us Weekly, suggesting that having children is the next natural step for the duo. "Miley is so happy with her life right now. She's finishing up recording her next album and she and Liam couldn't be happier."
