Newlyweds Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are already thinking about expanding their family just one month after tying the knot. In fact, a rumor that the couple was already expecting circulated just last month, something the singer and a new slew of sources recently shut down. There was, however, a bit of truth to the speculation. According to an Us Weekly insider, "Miley is not pregnant currently," but is definitely thinking about having children with Hemsworth.
"[She] does want to have a family with Liam. Miley and Liam say they felt married before their actual ceremony," continued the source, suggesting that having children is the next natural step for the duo. "Miley is so happy with her life right now. She's finishing up recording her next album and she and Liam couldn't be happier."
The insider also told the outlet that the couple, "decided to get married after seeing how well they worked together after the fires in Malibu." Cyrus and Hemsworth lost their shared home in the Woolsey blaze last November, "but after going through the trauma together, they became closer than ever."
Cyrus went public about the devastating experience in December, telling Jimmy Fallon, "Liam was an amazing hero." "He got out all the horses, the pigs, seven dogs, four cats. His truck was [filled]. It was really sexy to me." It's clear that the wildfires greatly solidified the couple's decision to wed after years of breaking and making up. After meeting on the set of their joint film, "The Last Song," in 2010, the couple quickly became engaged in June of 2012—but called it quits in September 2013. They reconciled and reinstated their engagement in January 2016 and wed at home two years later.
