After less than two years together, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott may be heading towards marriage. The rapper recently sat down for an interview with Rolling Stone and revealed that he wants to propose soon.
After Scott referred to Jenner as his "wife" during a performance in Houston, fans speculated that the couple may already be engaged or even married. Scott set the record straight, though, telling the outlet that he didn't propose yet, but that their relationship has grown stronger since they first started dating and an engagement might be on the horizon. "It got to a point where I was like, 'I need [Kylie] with me to operate. She's that one,'" Scott told the outlet, "We'll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up—I gotta propose in a fire way."
The couple first met in April 2017 after Scott's performance at Coachella. In February of this year, they welcomed their daughter, Stormi. Scott said he was originally drawn to how down-to-earth Jenner was, but admitted that he didn't know how serious the relationship was going to be in the beginning. "Maybe, like, the first week, you don't know if it's real or a fling," he explained. "Then the second week you're like, 'Whoa, I'm still talking to her, she's responding, I'm responding. We ain't run out of a thing to say.'"
Although the rapper may have intentions to propose soon, a source told People that the pair might hold off on planning a wedding in favor of focusing on Stormi. However long they decide to wait, though, Jenner believes the two were meant to be together. In an interview with GQ in July, she said, "Everything happened for a reason."
