While planning her wedding to Taylor Goldsmith, Mandy Moore was adamant about one key detail: She would not wear a white wedding dress. She was true to her word, as evidenced by the soft pink Rodarte gown the This Is Us actress wore for her walk down the aisle. As it turns out, she held her second wedding dress to the same standard—she stepped out in a slinky black number for the latter half of the festivities.
The garment featured a deep V-neckline, asymmetrical hemline, and triangular-shaped cut-outs on the sides. Moore revealed the outfit change on her Instagram Stories, which show a few snippets of the couple's evening reception. These photographs gave fans better insight into the evening's entertainment, which included a joint performance by the newlyweds (featuring Goldsmith's band, Dawes) and a photo booth. A video towards the end of Moore's Stories also shows the elated couple's party entrance.
According to E! News, Moore and Goldsmith tied the knot this past Sunday, in "an intimate backyard wedding at Mandy's home that started just after sundown." The small ceremony took place at Moore and Goldlsmith's Pasadena home, and was followed by a celebration at The Fig House in Los Angeles' Highland Park neighborhood. The décor was described as "very boho," thanks to the rug-lined aisle and pampas grass floral arrangements.
As for the star-studded guest list? Several of the actress' This Is Us co-stars turned out for the festivities, including Milo Ventimiglia, Chrissy Metz, and Sterling K. Brown. Wilmer Valderrama and Moore's best friend Minka Kelly were also in attendance.
