Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel might not be the most secretive celebrity couple in Hollywood, but they've always kept the majority of their relationship out of the spotlight. Until now, that is. In his new memoir, Hindsight & All the Things I Can't See in Front of Me, Timberlake shared several key details about his and Biel's six-year-long marriage-including how it all began, reports E! News.

The couple actually first crossed paths in a bar while celebrating at a mutual (famous) friend's surprise party. "We were at a surprise party in Hollywood at a speakeasy kind of a bar, a private club, and we were standing around in a group of people," Timberlake recalls in the book. "I made some sort of sarcastic comment, really dry. Nobody got it except her. We talked that night. The DJ played "Lucky Star," and we danced. And then she was gone."

Though this was the couple's first encounter, it wasn't the one that led to their courtship. That defining moment happened after one of Timberlake's shows in San Diego, which Biel attended with another mutual friend. The Sinner actress was invited back to her future-husband's tour bus post-concert, where the pop star offered to give her and a few of her friends a ride to Los Angeles. He made sure to get her number before she got off the bus, which led to plenty of phone calls over the duration of his tour. By the time the Golden Globes rolled around in January, they were dating.

However, it took the new couple some time to realize the depth of their relationship. "We were both still seeing other people, keeping ourselves safe from getting hurt, from really putting ourselves out there. It took a bit for both of us to admit to ourselves that we were really, really that into each other," he writes. "When I came back from tour, we spent a month together. After that, I said, 'I really want to be exclusive.' And, somehow, she said, 'So do I.'"
