Lady Gaga just revealed that her boyfriend Christian Carino is officially her fiancé. The A Star Is Born actress shared the news on stage, while she was being honored at Elle's Women in Hollywood Celebration. People reports that the singer thanked "my fiancé Christian" during a speech, seemingly confirming the rumors that have been circulating for months. Neither Gaga nor her talent agent boyfriend-who allegedly became an item back in February 2017-had previously commented on the life step until this week.

While the duo has been seen in public together-at a Kings of Leon concert last winter, before her halftime performance at Super Bowl LI, and most recently in Malibu-they've kept their relationship relatively private. Another People insider, however, did weigh in on the paring earlier this month. "Christian is a good, grounding force and understands her career," the source explained. "She's in a great place now."

Gaga told the New York Post in August, "The best part about being in love with someone is having them there to catch you if you fall," alluding to her and Carino's strong bond. According to Glamour, Carino has not only been there for Gaga, but has shown his dedication in a rather unconventional way-he reportedly has a tattoo of her face on his arm.

We might soon hear more about Gaga and Carino's love story, since the singer has a history of writing songs about her romances, past and present. "My music on my album as well as all my albums is inspired by my personal life," she told E! News.
