Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently on a two-week tour, but the trip isn't all business. Yesterday morning it was revealed that the couple is expecting their first child, which quickly became a topic of conversation during their first stop in Sydney, Australia. While the newlyweds let Kensington Palace make the official announcement ahead of their first event down under, the Duke of Sussex couldn't help but address the elephant in the room during a kick-off speech.

At a reception held for the couple, Harry took some time to thank everybody for hosting them. "It's great to be back in Australia, and especially, even more so, this is my wife's first trip here, so I'm very excited to show her this incredible country of yours," he started, as shown in the above Entertainment Tonight video.

After sharing a few more words of gratitude, he shyly mentioned the big news right at the end of his remarks. "We also couldn't think of a better place to announce the, um, upcoming baby. Boy or girl. So, thank you very much," he said. As he did so, he looked over to his wife and the couple shared the sweetest smile.

Harry isn't the only one excited about his future family. At the same event, Duchess Meghan was spotted bonding with Australian singer Missy Higgins and her baby daughter, Luna. Earlier in the day, Meghan debuted her small baby bump, much to the delight of fans. Interestingly, People reports that she was also wearing some meaningful jewelry: earrings and a bracelet that once belonged to Princess Diana. The Duchess' decision to constantly honor Harry's late mother has caused some speculate that if the couple welcomes a girl, it could be named after the princess.
