Denise Richards Is Married—And Her Wedding Dress Was Made in Just One Day!

She gave designer Mark Zunino just 24 hours to create the gown.

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers are married just days after their engagement was announced! The actress and actor tied the knot on Saturday, September 8, in Malibu, California. The fast nuptials came as a surprise to many of the couple's fans, as well as to the bride's wedding dress designer, Mark Zunino. According to him, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star gave him just a day's notice to create her gown.

Zunino explained how he tackled the tight timeline in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "With a 24-hour turnaround there wasn't a moment to spare," he admitted. But luckily, his client's relaxed demeanor made the whole thing a lot easier. "Denise's calm personality gives a wonderful vibe of confidence, which immediately rubbed off on my team. They would do anything for a client they love and respect," he shared.

Zunino met with both Richards and Phypers, who showed him examples of what Richards liked. From there, he came up with the perfect solution: repurposing one of his runway samples. "It was brand new, having only been worn five minutes during its catwalk debut, but was in a customized model size that was extremely small. We slipped it on Denise. Aaron's eyes lit up. Denise had an enormous smile, and said, 'This is it!'" The piece—a bridal romper—was then personalized with floral details to fully suit the bride's vision.

Richards and Phyper's wedding will be featured on RHOBH, but in the meantime, Bravo has released a teaser showcasing a bit of the big day. "I am so happy to officially be married to the love of my life," Richards told The Daily Dish
