Earlier this year, the Beyhive started buzzing about a video Beyoncé and Jay-Z played on their On the Run II tour. The clip showed the couple and their children in white in what was later revealed to be a vow renewal. Now, the iconic singer is finally speaking out about the special ceremony.

In honor of her 37th birthday this Tuesday, Beyoncé took to her website to reflect on the past year. Among her list of accomplishments was a mention of the big occasion. "At 36, I became a new mother of 3. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years. I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love," she wrote. "And we've been touring with our family around the world, and loving it." She went on to describe the entire year-featuring tons of meaningful family moments-as "monumental."

Her 36th year was monumental indeed, and she really couldn't have done it without her husband. In a recent interview with Vogue, she called Jay-Z her "soldier and such a strong support system" throughout her pregnancy with twins Rumi and Sir.

While we don't know much else about the couple's vow renewal, we do know what Beyoncé wore for the occasion: a Galia Lahav wedding dress. The bridalwear brand released a press statement sharing that the star stepped out in their "Thelma" gown-an off-the-shoulder gown with intricate embellishments.
