Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's relationship is the definition of a whirlwind. But unlike many celebrity couplings, it hasn't been secretive. Both the Sweetener singer and Saturday Date Live comedian have remained very open about their fast-paced romance and upcoming wedding, which is why it should come as no surprise that Grande just spilled more details about her connection to and future with her fiancé.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the pop star explained how she knew Davidson was "the one." "People are always like, 'When you know, you know,' and you're like, 'Well, yeah, whatever, okay,'" she began. Now though, she believes the hype: "It's just a feeling," she shared. She went on to confirm that Davidson is her "soulmate." "He just ticks every box," she explained. "I'm very grateful for him."
Just because Grande and Davidson's bond is as strong as it gets doesn't mean they're going to rush getting married, however. The singer told the outlet that they're going to "take our time to plan it." That being said, she's already started "brainstorming" ideas with her friends and family. "It's really fun," she shared. "I might cry I'm so excited." She also explained that planning has helped her find balance in the midst of a hectic career. "I work so much [that] I've never spent this much time or energy planning something personal that feeds my soul so much and my heart."
So, when exactly should fans expect to see her walk down the aisle? According to Grande, the couple won't wait too long. "It's not soon, soon. It's gonna be, like, next year."
