We look to the red carpet for hairstyle inspiration, both in our day-to-day lives and in preparation for the big ones, like the wedding day. If you have a favorite celebrity, one that you consider hair goals, you can probably cite a few of their more major looks, but it's more likely that you gravitate towards their effortless signature styles. While these stars' switch-ups are just as noteworthy, it's their go-to hairstyles that really draw us in.
Take Beyoncé for example. When you envision the singer, you probably picture her with beachy blonde curls—a style she's rocked for years on stage, at awards shows, and in her everyday life. As for newlywed Meghan Markle? Her messy bun has been her "thing" ever since she announced her engagement to Prince Harry, so much so that she wore a cleaned-up iteration of it on her actual wedding day. The point? These A-listers' signature hairstyles are engrained in our minds for a reason, which means that they're definitely worth considering for your bridal hairstyle.
There may be a lot of celebrity hair inspiration out there, but there's definitely a specific star that aligns with your big day beauty vision. To help you narrow down your search, we put together a list of our favorite signature celebrity hairstyles. Ahead, Kate Middleton's bouncy blow-out, Ariana Grande's ponytail, Jennifer Lopez's top knot, and more—all of which would look as amazing down the aisle as they do on the red carpet. Click through to discover which stars' go-to 'dos work for your wedding day.

Though the Duchess of Cambridge sported a half-up, half-down hairstyle on her wedding day, her voluminous, curly blow-out—which she wears at the majority of her royal outings—is her staple. The best part? Middleton's style works on multiple hair lengths (the royal's own mane, which seems to alternate from long to shoulder-length, proves this!). In fact, a shorter length actually prevents the style from drooping, so you can go from ceremony to reception with volume intact.

Why not opt for the Duchess of Sussex's signature casual hairstyle on your wedding day? She did! The newest royal stuck with her everyday low bun for her morning ceremony, and chose a higher-up, freer version for her nighttime reception at Clarence House. Whichever iteration you choose, be sure to tease volume at the crown and let a few pieces fall into your face to achieve the full Markle effect.

Bridal braids have been around for a while, and they clearly aren't going anywhere. We love Kate Bosworth's consistent take on the trend—she's known for the milk-maid braid updos or halo braid "headbands" that she wears with the rest of her locks down—which is perfect for summer weddings (we can totally see this for a backyard or garden party, especially in the French countryside!). Looking to make Bosworth's go-to look your own? Ask your hairstylist to weave wildflowers throughout.

Zoë Kravitz: The Pixie
When she's not filming Big Little Lies, Zoë Kravtiz rocks two pixie cut colorways—her natural black shade and platinum blonde. If the cropped look is also your go-to and you're a fashion-forward bride looking to push boundaries on your wedding day, try the latter. Just be sure to begin the platinum process months ahead of the event, to ensure that you give your colorist enough time to hit the right shade (it can take multiple appointments!) and that you're comfortable with the bold hue.

Rihanna: Slicked Back
Rihanna, the queen of edge, popularized the slicked-back style that's seen all over today's red carpets and wedding aisles. Beyond its modern aesthetic, this particular look is an up-and-coming bridal favorite for its functionality—it allows women to wear their locks down, but prevents flyaways sans clips, headbands, or combs.

Does the tight, slicked-back vibe of the ultra-sleek knot sound more appealing? Turn to Jennifer Lopez when sourcing your own 'do. The singer and actress rocks this look both on and off the red carpet (it's her go-to look for date night with Alex Rodriguez!), which makes it a perfect choice for either your relaxed rehearsal dinner style or big day glam. Just be sure your hairstylist sets the high bun with plenty of hairspray to minimize flyaways.

Beyoncé: Soft Waves
It doesn't matter if she's on a yacht, on tour, or shooting a music video, Beyoncé is known for wearing her hair in epic waves, which border on beachy. While the style won't work for brides with pin-straight hair, those with wavy or curly hair can make this look work. Search for volume-boosting products if you identify with the former and fizz-fighting ones if your locks fall into the latter category.
Though the reality TV star is known for switching up her hairstyle (sometimes on the daily!), she always returns to her signature sleek black locks, which are virtually always parted right down the middle. It's the perfect aesthetic for an edgy bride wearing an of-the-moment dress like this one, which Kardashian wore to the 2017 Meta Gala.

Searching for a hairstyle that's both casual and formal? Look to Ariana Grande, whose perfectly smooth, shiny signature ponytail shows us that it's the best of both worlds—especially with a few unexpected braids thrown in. It's also the perfect hairstyle to show off a pair of gorgeous diamond earrings. (And a great option if your dress has a high neckline.)

Jenna Dewan: The Bob
The model, actress, and dancer has rocked many hair lengths, but has gravitated towards a blunt bob as of late. Have the length but want to channel Dewan even further? Go for a deep side part, pin-straight or wavy strands, and a bold lip.

Taylor Swift: Bangs
If you have bangs, make like Taylor Swift—who's sported the style in all its forms since 2010—and wear them front and center on the big day. Whether you have the songstress' 2011 angled, choppy locks, or her modern day voluminous, classic fringe (seen here!), don't feel limited. Bangs can be paired with just about any hairstyle, up or down.

If you study Amal Clooney, you'll notice that she pretty much exclusively wears her dark, wavy hair down and off to one side both in her professional and celebrity life. The effortless style is pure romance—and the perfect look to copy if you're searching for something simple, but undeniably classic.

Solange Knowles: Natural Curls
Solange's entire wedding, from her legendary caped gown, to her white-clad bridal party, to her warehouse wedding photos, was iconic. Her curls—which she sports on a day-to-day basis—were both an addition to the drama (so much volume!) and an homage to her natural look (she looked like her on her big day). If you're lucky enough to be blessed with those same thick, gorgeous curls, channel Solange at your nuptials. Just find a great curl-enhancing styling product and let your hair do its thing.
