Why take a mini-moon or a week-long honeymoon when you and your new life partner can celebrate the nuptials with an entire year-long adventure?

Luxury tour operator Health and Fitness Travel has launched The Year Long Wellness Honeymoon, which encourages travelers to skip the "fly and flop" model in favor of an active, adventurous, once-in-a-lifetime journey.

Over the course of 365 days, travelers will visit no fewer than 20 countries, including Brazil, Australia, and South Africa. With an itinerary designed to emphasize various components of a healthy relationship, such as cultural wellness (in Turkey and the Italian countryside, of course) and learning new skills together (think: Tai Chi in India) the trip is touted as "an investment in marriage."

And by no small measure is this trip an investment: Pricing for this experience begins at £156,000 per person, or roughly $190,988. That includes business class flights, 56 therapeutic massages, 28 holistic and ayurvedic therapies, 25 personal training sessions, 16 wellness consultations, and upwards of 40 private yoga classes.

This ultimate honeymoon includes programs exclusive to Health and Fitness Travel, such as a couple's kickboxing session with a two-time gold medalist in Ibiza. Travelers will stay at upscale properties like Ananda in the Himalayas and the pioneering The BodyHoliday all-inclusive on the northwestern tip of St. Lucia.

Program experts recommend beginning the trip in Spain in August, though the fully customizable program can originate in any of the destinations at any date.

Not sure you can put reality on pause for a full 365 days? Health and Fitness Travel also offers a speedy, six-month version.
