When news first broke that Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande might be engaged, not everyone was convinced that the rumors were true. That's because the couple didn't release a formal statement—plus, they'd only been publicly dating for a few weeks! Now, though, Davidson has all but confirmed the engagement with the sweetest post on social media.

Over the weekend, Davidson shared an Instagram snapshot of himself and Grande sitting together. The photo shows Grande's left hand over the comedian's, and her engagement ring is on full display. "u know what you'd dream it be like ? it's better than that," Davidson captioned the image. The Saturday Night Live star's post comes after his fiancée seemingly confirmed the engagement herself. Last Friday, the singer tweeted, "I cant believe my life rn," most likely referring to the progression of their whirlwind romance. She's also been accepting fans' congratulatory messages on Twitter.

According to TMZ, Davidson popped the question with a custom Greg Yuna engagement ring featuring a pear-shaped diamond on a platinum band, which is rumored to have cost almost $100,000. After Grande accepted, the couple celebrated with a trip to Disneyland. It's clear that they've bonded over their mutual love of fantasy—they confirmed dating rumors with a photo of them in matching Harry Potter-themed getups.

There's no word yet on their wedding plans, but a source did tell Entertainment Tonight that Grande's always dreamed of a winter celebration. "She loves the idea of a winter wonderland-type scene," the insider explained. "We used to laugh about her fun ideas of a snowy wedding day."
