Jon Hamm may not have had anything to do with the movie Wedding Crashers, but he just made a real-life rendition happen. While promoting his new movie, Tag, the former Mad Men actor (flanked by his fellow Tag co-stars Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, and Jake Johnson) surprised two newlyweds at the Fountainbleu Miami Beach on Sunday, reports E! News.
The celebrity buddies made their presence known during the best man's speech, when Renner grabbed the mic and announced that he and his pals were in the middle of a game of "tag." His co-stars then entered the reception hall, much to the excitement of the couple and their unsuspecting guests (you can watch their epic reactions in the video below!). After greeting the couple with handshakes and cheek-kisses (and plenty of selfies!), the actors took a few moments to pose with the bride and groom in their photo booth.
Following the reception, the crashers took to their social media accounts to publicly congratulate the love birds. "That wedding we crashed while doing press for #TagMovie in Miami. It was a beautiful wedding. Thank you for the drinks & hospitality," Johnson captioned his Instagram post. ""CONGRATS Mr. & Mrs. Thompson!!!! Beautiful wedding!!!" Helms added.
The Tag cast members certainly aren't the first Hollywood A-listers to crash a wedding. Beyoncé, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hanks, Justin Timberlake, and Serena Williams have all happened upon weddings, where their presence served as major bonuses on the biggest day of those lucky couples' lives.
