You don't need to convince us that Meghan Markle—now the Duchess of Sussex—is one impressive lady, but a recent profile of the star proves that point further. The royal family unveiled her official bio after she married her duke this weekend, and the details are seriously incredible.

"The Duchess of Sussex, born Meghan Markle, married Prince Harry at St George's Chapel, Windsor in May 2018," the statement begins, before going into Markle's many accolades. "As well as undertaking royal duties in support of The Queen, both in the UK and overseas, The Duchess devotes her time to supporting a number of charities and organisations." The profile notes that Markle was an activist at as early as 11-years-old, when she protested a sexist television ad.

Since then, she's worked with notable groups including One Young World, UN Women, and World Vision. She's also praised in the bio for her years-long devotion to volunteering at soup kitchens. Fans are especially thrilled by a Markle quote the profile features: "I am proud to be a woman and a feminist."

What the royal bio doesn't state, however, has many scratching their heads. There's no direct mention of her famous acting career, other than a subtle reference: "While filming in Toronto, The Duchess actively volunteered at a Canadian soup kitchen from 2011-2013." This makes sense, though, considering the royal family's focus on charitable work and worldly involvement. The bio shows us a side of Markle less talked about in the U.S. and reveals what her focus will be now that she holds her new position.
