The royal wedding is just around the corner, and if you're itching to know what to expect of the big day, you're in luck. Kensington Palace has released some major information: the names of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bridesmaids and page boys. The list includes 10 young children who are about to experience the event of a lifetime.
As expected, two familiar (and adorable) faces are filling special roles. Four-year-old Prince George and three-year-old Princess Charlotte will be a page boy and bridesmaid, respectively. George will be joined by three other little guys, while Charlotte will be joined by five other little girls.
Among the page boys are Harry's godson, six-year-old Jasper Dyer, and seven-year-olds Brian and John Mulroney, the twin sons of Markle's best friend, Jessica Mulroney. The bridesmaids include Harry's two goddaughters, three-year-old Florence van Cutsem and two-year-old Zalie Warren, Markle's two goddaughters, six-year-old and seven-year-old Remi and Rylan Litt, and Mulroney's four-year-old daughter, Ivy.
It's common for British bridesmaids to be kids, whereas in the U.S., they're typically adults. For those who don't know, U.K. page boys are just young male attendants to the bride. Usually, the bride also selects a chief bridesmaid (what we call a maid of honor). It was previously revealed to People that Markle has decided not to have one, however. "She has a very close-knit circle of friends and she didn't want to choose one over another," a palace spokesperson told the outlet. Instead, it seems as though she's honoring the top contender (Mulroney) by involving her children.
