This week, Ryan Reynolds appeared on the Graham Norton Show to discuss his new movie, Deadpool 2. While he was there, he shared a story about a run in with a couple on their honeymoon that can best be described as unique. Apparently, the "surreal" encounter, which happened mid-flight, quickly took a strange turn.
"I was on a plane with a honeymooning couple and the bride became very ill," the star said, according to Entertainment Tonight. "She was taken off the plane on a stretcher it was so bad." Despite the scariness of the situation, however, Reynolds' presence turned out to be a plus.

"As her new husband followed her out, he spotted me and shouted, 'Deadpool, high five!'" he recalled. At least the celebrity brought some joy to groom during the unfortunate turn of events!
This isn't the first time Reynolds has experienced honeymoon-related troubles. In fact, his own newylwed vacation with wife Blake Lively came with its own set of challenges, reports E! News. Back in 2014, the Canadian revealed that after their trip, he pushed Lively to her limits! "I dragged my wife from our honeymoon in Africa and landed her in Ontario, Canada, when it was minus-40 degrees," he revealed. According to him, they stayed in "this little roadside hotel" for a month! Apparently, though, the cold temps were no match for their love. "Ironically, she coped with it far better than I did," he explained.
