Meghan Markle Might Borrow Amal Clooney's Hairstylist for the Royal Wedding
Who knew that Clooney and Markle were friends?
Meghan Markle's bridal beauty countdown is well underway. According to Entertainment Tonight, the bride-to-be has reportedly chosen the hairstylist who will be responsible for her wedding hairstyle. If the rumors are true, stylist Miguel Perez of Salon Sloane might just act at Markle's "something borrowed," since he's the go-to hairdresser to another high-profile London resident-Amal Clooney!
While Markle's representatives have yet to confirm her choice, Perez allegedly spoke with the U.K. newspaper, The Mail, affirming the news. "Yes, I do Meghan's hair," Miguel reportedly explained earlier week. "I do Amal's, and Meghan is friends with her. I also do George [Clooney]'s, I do the whole family." In addition to revealing Markle's connections to the Clooneys (who knew?), he also said that he's been responsible for her mane ever since she moved in with Prince Harry. "Amal put Meghan and me together when she moved here [to London]. I do her color, her cut, and her styling," he said.
He also suggested that Markle has also crossed the wedding hair trial of her pre-nuptials to-do list. "We have talked about it [the wedding] and we have a plan," he continued. "I can't say any more, but we know what we're doing." We'll simply have to wait and speculate until May 19 arrives, but our money is on a regal variation of Markle's signature messy bun.
With just three weeks until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchange vows, nearly all of the pre-wedding prep is done. Now that their wedding party, cake, ceremony and reception flowers, and music have all been worked out, the couple has been focused on their royal obligations ahead of the big day, recently attending an Invictus Games reception and veterans' memorial service. At the former, the Prince accidentally revealed his nickname for his future wife. A short video clip captured by The Daily Mail showed Harry calling "Meg! Meg!" to Markle to get her attention during the reception.
