5 Florists Dream Up Meghan Markle's Wedding Bouquet
Wedding planner Laura Remmert asked some of New York City's top florists to predict what Meghan's big-day arrangement might look like. Their creations? Fit for a princess, of course.

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding date fast approaching, the rumor mill is in full swing. Most of these whispers have revolved around the future royal's wedding dress (namely, who the designer will be), but we're just as curious about the rest of Meghan's wedding-day look, including her bridal bouquet. That's why we turned to our friend Laura Remmert, owner or Laura Remmert Events, and asked her to help us envision what Meghan's bouquet might look like. To get the answers, Laura went straight to the pros: She asked five New York City-based florists to create arrangements fit for Harry's princess. Although the odds are good that Meghan's bouquet will look similar to the one Kate Middleton carried (which looked like most other royal wedding arrangements!), it's possible that the bride-to-be will break from tradition. And while these interpretations are speculative and nontraditional, we think each would look at home in St. George's Chapel.
You'll notice that no two of the following arrangements, created by—FLWR, Denise Fasanello Flowers, Blush Design, Mimosa Floral Design, and Bourgeon and photographed by Kelly Kollar—look the same. They're bursting with different textures and colors and are comprised of divergent types of blooms. The reason? There are a million facets to Meghan Markle (she's an American-turned-Brit and an actress-turned-activist) and a million reasons as to why she'd choose one particular spray over another. One of our florists hypothesized that she'd take after Princess Diana, Harry's beloved late mother, and carry an updated cascading bouquet on her wedding day. While Diana's sprawling wedding arrangement included a mixture of traditional blooms, like gardenia, lily of the valley, and freesia, Meghan (an American actress) will likely opt for more modern buds, like spirea, plums, jasmine, hellebore and Japanese spray roses.
Of course, we'll have to wait until May 19th to see what the future royal chooses, but, in the meantime, it certainly doesn't hurt to daydream. From a pastel-drenched arrangement to a sleek clutch of calla lilies, the following bouquets appeal to the various aspects of Meghan's tastes and personality—and just might predict the real thing.

Spring Flowers
Emily Buckner of FLWR is convinced that Meghan will choose a traditional arrangement come May 19th. For her interpretation on the classic white bridal bouquet, she used "delicate spring flowers, like local hellebores for their soft ombré tones and butterfly ranunculus for their long flexible stems. Paired with the flowering spirea, the flowers created a bouquet with rich texture and dimension," she explains. "I want the flowers to move with the bride as she walks down the aisle."

English Garden
Using florals that will be in-season in England at the time of the royal wedding, Denise Fasanello of Denise Fasanello Flowers created a masterpiece that would surely suit Meghan, who's fully embraced virtually everything about royal life. Her inspiration? "I was trying to channel a pretty spring English Garden," she says of the pansy, lupine, fire lily, garden rose, tulip, hellebore, and smilax arrangement.

American Minimalism
Jeeyun Lee of Blush Design, on the other hand, incorporated the American minimalist style into her bouquet interpretation. Perfect white calla lilies, the epitome of Meghan's American-inspired sense of style, make a subtle statement all on their own.

Princess Diana-Inspired
Princess Diana virtually invented the cascading bouquet trend, which makes it a high contender for Meghan's own arrangement. Mimosa Floral Design's Lilli Wright used spirea, plums, jasmin, hellebore and Japanese spray roses to craft this draping beauty. It's simultaneously a nod to the mother-in-law she'll never meet and a modern interpretation of the floral style she ignited.

Textured Pastels
Since the royal wedding will take place in the heart of May, it's likely that Meghan will choose a color palette that best illustrates the season: pastels! This colorful bouquet, crafted by Amy Febinger of Bourgeon, is bursting with dusty-rose ranunculus, blush roses, purple frittalaria, and eucalyptus—and is the ultimate ode to spring.

Sweet, Simple, and Something Blue
Denise Fasanello's petite ivory clutch could be another likely choice for the future royal, especially if she's set on including a little something blue (illustrated here by a few sprigs of muscari) into her personal flowers. This bouquet, made up of garden and spray roses, is subtle and soft, and would allow Meghan's dress—whatever style it may be!—to steal the show.
