Amy Schumer isn't changing her name anytime soon. According to People, the comedian recently posted an Instagram story in which she and her father discuss whether or not the recent bride will adopt her husband Chris Fischer's surname. Her rationale for sticking with Schumer? She doesn't want to be associated with the notorious Amy Fischer—a seventeen-year-old girl who shot her lover's wife on the front porch of the couple's Long Island home in 1992.

"Are you still Amy Schumer or are you Amy Fischer now?" her father, Gordon Schumer, asked in the video. "I'm not Amy Fischer! Do you remember who Amy Fischer is? The Long Island Lolita," she responded, laughing. All jokes and jilted lovers aside, Schumer actually has another reason for retaining her own family name. "No, I'm keeping my last name—I'm keeping your last name," she told her dad.

Schumer's Instagram story was taken shortly after the star's Italy honeymoon, which included stops in Milan, Venice, and Rome. The Trainwreck actress shared plenty of photos and videos from the trip, which showed the newlyweds sipping on cappuccinos, enjoying the local fare, and riding around on Segways.

The honeymoon followed Schumer and Fischer's February wedding. The celebration came as a surprise to most of Schumer's inner circle (the duo had only been dating for a few months!)—in fact, the comedian invited her guests via text message. It might have been impromptu, but the small ceremony was intensely emotional. Jennifer Lawrence was in attendance and told Entertainment Tonight that she "was sobbing the whole [time]." "His vows were stunning. It's when two people really love each other and they really mean it, it shows, and it was a beautiful ceremony and an amazing time. I couldn't be happier for them," she said.
