When it comes to mixing their personal and professional lives, some couples happily do, and some couples don't. It all depends on their specific relationship and the lifestyle that they want to have. Though Rose Leslie and fiancé Kit Harington met on the set of Game of Thrones, for example, they now separate their work from their romance—and in this case, the reason is a funny one.
Leslie—whose Game of Thrones character, Ygritte, was killed several years back—just appeared on The Late Show with Seth Meyers. There, she explained why she doesn't let Harington discuss the show (or at least, the future of the show) with her. "Talk about being an avid fan," she shared of her passion for the series. "I'm like the rest of the world. I'm waiting for the new and final season." Accordingly, she has to stop her future husband (who plays Jon Snow) from revealing spoilers about how it all ends!
Her desire to remain naïve to the plot has even forced her to kick Harington out of the house. "I remember over the summer, obviously the new episodes for the final season were coming through onto his iPad," she recalled. "I can read his facial expressions. I don't want to know anything that's going on within his eyes, so I sent him packing."
"I kind of boot him out so that he can go to the coffee shop," she went on. Obviously, the couple can't wait for the Game of Thrones finale. And maybe, when that project's over, they'll have more time for wedding planning! Earlier this year, Leslie joked that the couple was "trying to fit in" time to plan their nuptials, and even admitted that she and Harington found the thought of picking a date and location overwhelming.
