Amy Schumer Jokes She and Chris Fischer Are "Already on the Rocks" with Honeymoon Photo
Leave it to the comedian to turn her post-nuptial vacation into a hilarious joke.
Leave it to Amy Schumer to turn a honeymoon adventure into a hilarious punch line. Following her surprise Malibu wedding, the comedian shared an Instagram photo of her and husband Chris Fischer climbing a rugged, rocky landscape with the caption, "We are already on the rocks."
While it's unclear exactly where their post-nuptials excursion took place, commenters have suggested that it might be Utah. This would make sense, since Schumer posted a video on Saturday from what appears to be the Wynn Las Vegas hotel and casino. The clip shows Schumer and her friends comically "curling" a man's (we're not sure whether or not the man in the video is Fischer!) way to the bathroom-a testament to the Olympic games. "When someone gets up to walk to the bathroom during the Olympics it is essential you curl them to their destination. #walkcurling," she wrote.
It's no surprise that Schumer's honeymoon has been full of comedy-her wedding guests reported that the couple's vows had everyone laughing. "Amy and Chris said personal vows that lasted about 15 minutes and got a ton of laughs from the crowd," a source told E! News. Celebrity guest Jennifer Lawrence, however, said that the vows were also intensely emotional. "I was sobbing the whole―his vows were stunning," she told Entertainment Tonight. "It's when two people really love each other and they really mean it, it shows, and it was a beautiful ceremony and an amazing time. I couldn't be happier for them."
Lawrence also said that the wedding was "very sudden," for Schumer's fans as well as her friends and family. The Trainwreck star actually invited guests via text message, a source told Us Weekly. "It was, 'Hey, this is happening. If you can make it, great. If not, no worries,'" the insider said. The casual invites weren't the only laid-back aspect of the day. Since the ceremony was last-minute, Schumer, pressed for time, only tried on one wedding dress, her stylist and friend Leesa Evans. "It was literally that spur of the moment," she told People.
