If you're like most women, you're probably on a never-ending quest to make your eyebrows appear thicker and fuller. When accentuated, a great set of brows will frame your face, bring out your features, and somehow make you seem polished and pulled together without a lot of makeup. It's a seemingly little thing you can do that has huge payoff, especially on your wedding when you'll be posing for tons of photos. So, we went to town and tried tons of products to find the ones that will make it look like we (and you) were blessed with Brooke Shields or Ali MacGraw's naturally thick brows.
As it turns out, it's easier to fake this look than we ever imagined, which is good news for any woman who spent her teen years over-plucking her eyebrows. Even better, you have multiple options that all work well, so you can find the application process that you like best. For a very natural look, there's a brow powder that comes in two shades—it's lighter at the beginning of the palette, then gets gradually darker towards the end. That's because an eyebrow is naturally lighter from the beginning to your arch, then gets darker towards the tail. Prefer something a little more low-maintenance? A tinted gel might be exactly what you need. Just swipe on a coat or two for instantly thicker brows. Of course, you could also focus on growing out your brows, and we found one product that will do just that. Even better, it also works on your lashes, so you can get your entire eye-area to pop in time for the big day.

This compact looks like an actual eyebrow and contains two different powders—a lighter color at the beginning of the brow to the arch, and then a darker color from the arch to the tail of the brow. This is because eyebrows naturally get darker toward the end, so you'll get a more natural. Genius.

This multitasking serum is one you can use on both your eyelashes and eyebrows to help them grow longer and thicker. Start using it at least eight weeks before your wedding, morning and night: It has a little doe-foot applicator that you first apply along your lash lines, then your lashes, and then your brows. Just be sure to wipe off the applicator after each use to ensure nothing contaminates the serum.
Shiseido Full Lash Serum, $35, sephora.com.

After brow genius Kristie Streicher told us she always uses this clear brow gel on herself and her clients, we immediately started using it—and it's been a mainstay in our makeup bags ever since. It's the perfect setting gel to use after powder or pencil, or just to use on its own. Something about the way the bristles are shaped helps to stretch every last brow to its full potential.
