Bridesmaids' dresses come in all shapes and sizes, colors and materials, and even designs. When it comes to picking the right one for your girls, think about when your wedding is taking place. Everything from the fabrication to the cut and colors should subtly say, "Spring wedding!" If you want your 'maids to love their looks, take these three things into consideration before you shop.

The Season

If you live in a part of the country where spring is a welcome relief after harsh winter temperatures, celebrate the warmer weather by dressing your bridesmaids in a light material that moves, such as chiffon and crepe. Though it's warmer, it won't necessarily be warm, especially at night, so think about giving the bridesmaids pretty wraps that complement their dresses.

The Wedding Colors

Take a cue from your decorating palette, most likely some of spring's prettiest pastels like butter yellow and lavender. While there's no need for an exact match, dressing the girls in these soft, fresh tones will heighten your color theme.

The Trends

Jumpsuits made of flowy material like chiffon, high-low hemlines that let a pair of spectacular shoes stand out, structured silhouettes, floral fabrics, the faux wrap dress, and bright colors are just some of the latest bridesmaids' dress trends. Flutter sleeves, elaborate beading, and ruffles let your crew look modern and fabulous (without taking the focus off you!). Another trend you'll see: florals. What could be more perfect for a spring wedding than generous-sized flowers blooming all over your girls' dresses?
