Taylor Swift is known for going out of her way for her fans, and her latest gesture might be the sweetest one yet. The "What Look You Made Me Do" singer sent a bouquet and note to an adoring fan on her wedding day—a surprise made possible by the lucky bride's then-fiancée.
Brittany Lewis knew how much her love, Lexi Gonzalez, adored the songstress—the couple's song is Swift's "Love Story," which actually played during their proposal. Before the wedding, Lewis sent a series of messages to Swift asking her to do something special on Gonzalez's big day. Touched by Lewis' plea, Swift decided to follow through. On January 14, Gonzalez uploaded a Twitter photo of the couple posing with the flowers the singer sent them. "Still In freaking shock that @taylorswift13 sent me and my amazing Hubby flowers on our wedding day! #LoveStory #SinceHighSchool #WeddingOfTheYear," she wrote in her caption.
Swift also sent along a sweet note. "You have no idea how honored I am that 'Love Story' has been such a big part of your beautiful love story. Have the most magical wedding day and hopefully I can meet you both soon!" she wrote.
According to the happy couple's wedding website, they've been together for nine years. Gonzalez wrote that Lewis adores flowers and that both are major Taylor Swift fans. She also opened up about their Swift-centric proposal: "As she got down on one knee she said, 'So I talked to your dad, now it's time to pick out a white dress… will you marry me?' Our song has always been 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift so if you know the song you can see how adorable her saying that was!"
