According to the outlet, Cook and Shoenfeld threw a "Winter Wonderland" wedding on December 17, 2017, though the event was held somewhere much warmer than their theme let on. The couple wed at Nashville's FGL House, and were joined by 300 guests. Cook's friend, Laura Lacey, planned the affair, and both the bride and groom's children from previous relationships had special roles in the big day.
Cook wore a Vera Wang wedding dress with a ruffled skirt. Her groom donned a black ensemble, and accessorized with surprising footwear—white-and-black sneakers. Decorations (by Vance Nichols) included white, faux Christmas trees, which surrounded the spouses as they said their vows. FGL House catered the food, which included vegan and vegetarian options to accommodate different diets. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into a Rachel Make My Cake dessert. Following the reception, celebrants went home with Nashville-inspired favors, including Big Machine Vodka and Goo Goo Cluster candy. They were also given something more personal—a CD of two songs by Cook and Shoenfeld, under their official country duo name, SunKat.
"Adam makes my life better in every possible way; he always has my back and is my biggest supporter. I am extremely proud to be by his side," Cook shared with People. "I know that the rest of our life together is going to be an adventure. It's on," Shoenfeld added.
