After two and a half years with my beautiful lady, she’s officially my feyoncé.

The Mindy Project's Fortune Feimster is ready to tie the knot, according to her engagement announcement on Instagram. The comedian revealed the news over the weekend, sharing photos of her with her new "feyoncé," Jacquelyn Smith.

Judging by the photos shared on the couple's social media accounts, Feimster popped the question in California, with beautiful views serving as the proposal's backdrop. "A few days ago Fortune asked me to join her on a magical adventure to Big Sur," Smith captioned her reveal slideshow. Prior to getting engaged, the couple had been exploring the location on a trip.

HOW TO TELL FRIENDS AND FAMILY ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT

Just wanted to share a couple more pics from our special day and then I’ll go back to obsessing over our dogs. I also wanted to take a sec to express my gratitude for all the love we have received. If you had told me as a kid growing up in the south that I would one day be engaged to an amazing woman, I would have said, “What are you talking about? I’m not gay. I just haven’t found the right guy.” But had you told me I’d be engaged to an amazing woman and thousands of people from all over the world would wish us both well, I would have thought you were crazy. But here we are and I am completely blown away by the support and love from people who don’t know us, people with different religious backgrounds, people from different cultures, people with different political beliefs...everyone putting any differences aside to celebrate a special moment in two people’s lives. It reminds me of how much good there is in the world, and at the end of the day, love does in fact win.

Since news broke, the couple's received an influx of well wishes, which has made the occasion even more meaningful. "Just wanted to share a couple more pics from our special day and then I'll go back to obsessing over our dogs," Feimster captioned another set of images. "I also wanted to take a sec to express my gratitude for all the love we have received. After getting engaged, Feimster and Smith visited with Feimster's close friends, who surprised them by throwing a mini party for the couple, complete with Champagne and "Chapel of Love" playing in the background.
