Less than a year after their intimate wedding, Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel are expanding their family. According to Daily Mail, the newlyweds are expecting their first child together, and the couple couldn't be more thrilled.
"Miranda, Evan, and Flynn are looking forward to welcoming the newest member of their family," a spokeswoman told the outlet today. Flynn is Kerr's six-year-old son, who she shares with her ex-husband, Orlando Bloom. Last year, before the model married the Snapchat co-founder, she told The Edit that her son, Bloom, and Spiegel got along well. "Evan met Flynn, so yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he's great. We're just a modern family now," she shared then. Now, that their family's about to expand, little Flynn will get to become a big brother.
In an interview with The Times this year, not long before the couple's big day, Kerr hinted that she planned to get pregnant after tying the knot. When asked if she and Spiegel wanted a baby, she responded, "Not yet. Not until after we get married. My partner is very traditional."
Interestingly enough, a few months ago, the celebrity announced that she's putting her modeling career on hold. "I've modeled for 20 years, it's just not a priority anymore," she revealed. "Now, if an opportunity comes up, I think, 'Is this in the best interest of my family?'" Perhaps, the star was considering the little one on the way!
