If the rumors are true, Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are about to celebrate a lot more than just the Astro player's recent World Series win. According to the Houston Chronicle, the model and athlete's wedding will take place sometime this month.

Jon Heyman, a journalist at Fanrag Sports, took the whispers one step further, giving fans a wedding date and location. "Word seems to be that Verlander-Upton wedding is this weekend in Italy. He'll have to miss the parade presumably," he tweeted. Only time will tell—neither Verlander nor Upton have confirmed the news themselves—but the facts do add up. Upton chatted with our our Editor-in-Chief, Amy Conway, earlier this year and shared that she and her fiancé were planning a destination wedding. "We want a destination wedding, like we're taking our friends and families on a vacation and we're having a great time, and we just happen to get married," she explained.

Kate Upton and Justin Verlander Have Different Opinions on *This* Wedding Essential

The couple announced their engagement in March 2016 after three years of dating, but with Verlander's hectic season on the horizon, the duo took their time planning. For Upton, the wait wasn't an issue. "We always try and work on our communication," she told E! News at the 2016 Met Gala. "We're very open with one another and we're each other's best friends. He's definitely my best friend, so I think that helps a lot."

Upton officially began wedding planning in May, when she attended a Pronovias bridal fashion show to search for her wedding dress. So far, the star has kept her the details quiet, but she's been adamant about one thing in particular—there will be lots and lots of dancing. "We have a family tradition—I guess it's a tradition now, since it happened twice—where everyone enters the reception dancing. Then you stop and have dinner, and then you back on the dance floor," she explained.
