Between acting careers and raising their two children, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have a lot going on. The Bad Moms actress opened up to E! News about how she and Kutcher prioritize their marriage, despite hectic schedules.
"Communication is key," Kunis said, at the A Bad Moms Christmas premier on Monday. The actress also cited another major requirement to remaining connected when life gets busy. When asked how she and her husband would be celebrating her movie premiere, she replied, "We're going to sleep." The reason? Kutcher and Kunis approach parenting as a team, and need their rest to take on their kids together—especially since the couple needed to be up at 6 a.m. the following morning to get their three-year-old daughter, Wyatt, dressed in her Halloween costume.
It looks like the combination of communication and adequate sleep is working for the couple. In an October interview, Kunis told E! News that she never gets annoyed with Kutcher. "I can give you an honest answer, and this is going to be the opposite of what people want to hear. My husband does not annoy me. He doesn't. He really doesn't," she insisted. "I don't know if this happens later. We've only been married for a handful of years. You know, it's very much in the honeymoon phase of things."
This is pretty remarkable, since Kutcher and Kunis have known each other for much of their lives. The actors first met playing love interests on That 70s Show, but didn't explore a relationship until years later. The couple married in a private wedding ceremony, one year after welcoming their daughter in 2014, . Their son, Dimitri, came along in 2016. Over the course of their three year marriage, Kunis has frequently praised Kutcher for his support and incredible parenting skills. "I have an unbelievable partner in crime. I really do, and I'm so grateful for it every day," she said.
