Check out these breathtaking beach properties, perfect for your big day.
If you've been dreaming of a destination wedding on a sunny stretch of beach, you're not alone. In fact, far-flung nuptials are more popular than ever, with more and more couples inviting friends and family to celebrate their marriage in paradise. That's why we asked our friends at the Venue Report to help us round up some of the prettiest beach wedding venues around.
Even better, they took our task one step further and shared the best beachy spots to say "I do" in the U.S. and abroad. If your idea of an oceanfront wedding includes a venue on the east coast, consider Cape Cod's Wychmere Beach Club, located in the charming town of Harwich Port, or check out Belle Mere in historic Newport, Rhode Island. Both offer plenty of classic New England charm in addition to their waterfront spaces.
And if you were thinking about somewhere a bit more tropical, consider Hawaii. You don't need a passport to visit the islands, but your guests will still feel as though they've been transported to another world entirely. With picks on Lahaina, Wailea, and Hana, there are plenty of properties to choose from. But if your idea of a destination wedding means getting away entirely, you'll find ideas here, too. With wedding venues everywhere from Punta de Mita, Mexico, and Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia, to St. Thomas and the Bahamas, there's a spot here for everyone.
