Your mom has always been one of the most important women in your life. She's had your back since way before you started planning the wedding, and she's probably helped to make your big day a reality in more ways than you can count. On your wedding day, you want her to know just how much you appreciate her. Here are a few specialy ways to show your mom just how much you care.

Have breakfast together.

It'll be just like old times with the two of you sitting down to toast and tea and gabbing away about any and everything. Sharing such precious alone time will start the day off right for both of you.

Treat her to a massage.

If there's time before all the wedding-day hoopla begins, get pampered together. A massage will relax both of you and prepare you for the action that lies ahead.

Write her a love letter.

Pour your heart out. Even if you often verbally express your love and gratitude to her, put those emotions down on paper. (Sending an email doesn't have the same feel as a letter, literally). She'll read your words and keep them close to her heart long after the wedding is over.

Give her a custom corsage.

Let this be a one-of-a-kind combination of her favorite flowers in colors that flatter her dress and skin tone.

Walk down the aisle with her.

"Giving away" the bride is usually reserved for your dad, but there's no rule that says your mom can be part of this tradition, too. (Just make sure your dad is on-board with the idea!)

Surprise her with a mother-daughter dance.

You've already got a dance planned with your dad but why not put your mom in the reception spotlight? Pick a song she loves and any initial hesitation to strut her stuff in front of an audience will evaporate quickly.
