"[I have] no nerves at all. Something like that is just so special," Haynes said at Halloween event on Tuesday. "You just make sure everything's right and the family's happy and the friends are happy and that's all that matters. And the grooms are happy. No bridezillas here." The star confirmed that the couple has finished the chaotic wedding planning process, and that both grooms-to-be are looking forward to settling into married life. "I'm just excited for everything to calm down. The planning of everything is a lot, but also having this party and everything is just a lot," he said. "Once everything kind of calms down in the next couple of weeks, then I'll be good."
Haynes and Leatham became engaged in March, after the actor confirmed their relationship in February. The couple's engagement in Mexico might just win best of the year, since Leatham, a celebrity florist, enlisted the help of several A-list friends to help him pop the question. The happy moment took place at night on the beach, and included fireworks and romantic music. The best part, though, was the sweet video which showed Cher, Melalnie Griffith, Serena Williams, and Ally Maki wishing the pair the best. After Haynes accepted, he posted an Instagram photo of him and his new fiancé kissing on the beach, with the caption, "I SAID YES!!!"
When it came time to plan their nuptials, Haynes deferred most of the decision-making to Leatham. "I suck at that stuff, and I do not want to help at all, so he's gonna take care of it," the actor revealed to ET. "He's the best. He just finished the biggest wedding of his career three days ago." It sounds like Leatham will also apply his master floral skills to his own nuptials. "It's going to be insane," Haynes told People in June.
