Nicole Kidman is raving about husband Keith Urban's new music. While at an event for the CMT Artists of the Year awards, Kidman chatted with ET and couldn't stop gushing about her spouse's upcoming album. In fact, she said she's been "dancing around the living room to it already."
According to Kidman, Urban's newest album is so good that she wants fans to hear it right now, and she's been telling her husband to release the music sooner. "I am like, put it out!" she joked. Urban has been recording this new album since the beginning of the year, and his wife has been there to witness the whole process. She said it fascinates her to hear how the music has changed since he first started working on the new songs. Kidman praised her husband's talent, calling him "a maestro."
Kidman and her country star husband are known for being one of the most supportive couple's in Hollywood, so it's no surprise that Kidman cheered Urban on at last night's event while he performed a tribute to Tom Petty. The Australian singer, along with Jason Aldean and several other country singers covered Petty's hit "I Won't Back Down."
That supportive relationship goes both ways. Urban was by his wife's side when she won her Emmy for Big Little Lies last month, and Kidman is a staple on the Grammy's red carpet. The couple has been married since 2006 and they're still as in love as ever. But that doesn't mean their relationship doesn't have its limits. One thing you won't catch this talented couple doing together? A duet. When asked if they'd ever perform a song together, Kidman laughed and exclaimed "Never!"
