Congrats are in order for two stars—Broadway actress Phillipa Soo and actor Steven Pasquale are married! The couple tied the knot on Sunday in what appears to be New York City. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a guest at the event, made the news official on Instagram.
"A TOAST TO THE GROOM, TO THE BRIDE," he wrote, adding "congrats to our beautiful friends." He also welcomed the couple "to the married club," and shared a photo of himself, husband Justin Mikita, the newlyweds, and other guests. He also used the spouses' wedding hashtag: #onabicyclebuiltforsoo.
Soo wore a bohemian wedding dress and a crown of white flowers. She accessorized with dangling earrings and kept her hair down. Pasquale looked dapper and relaxed at the reception, where the photo was taken.
Soo is best known for her role in the hit Broadway show Hamilton. She was nominated for a Tony for her performance. Pasquale has been cast for a number of stints on television and in movies. The couple got engaged in 2016, and shared the same snapshot to announce their status on social media.
"Oh just some spicy Chinese noodles with my bride to be," Pasquale captioned the photo, which gave a close-up view of Soo's red engagement ring. "We're engaged," she announced on the same day. "I will enjoy spicy noodle soup with him for the rest of my days." Recently, Soo shared a trio of images of the couple, captioning them, "I love this guy."
