Prepare for another adorable royal baby—Prince William and Duchess Kate are expecting again! Kensington Palace just released the news that Kate is in the midst of her third pregnancy.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," the announcement said. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news." The statement also explained that as a result of acute morning sickness—the same condition Kate struggled with while carrying Prince George and Princess Charlotte—she has canceled an appearance scheduled for today. "As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children's Centre in London today," it shared. "The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace." According to People, Kate is less than three months pregnant, and the announcement was expedited due to her missed event.
Reporters caught up with Prince Harry today, who expressed his excitement about having another niece or nephew. He called the news "fantastic, great," and shared that he is "very happy for them." He also spoke about Duchess Kate's health. "I haven't seen her for a while but I think she's okay," he shared.
According to an Us Weekly source, the royal and her sister, Pippa Middleton, have always wanted to be pregnant together. "It's long been a dream for Kate and Pippa to be pregnant at the same time," a family friend revealed. "To share that would be amazing." Could this mean that two famous babies are on the way?
